Last week, account executive, Adrienne Legath, had a unique opportunity to volunteer with the local chapter of Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) at the site of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” in Middleburg, Fla.
Fortunately for Adrienne (and let’s be honest, for everyone involved), no heavy lifting was required on her part. She assisted with greeting and directing the local broadcast and print media who were all there to cover the grand unveiling of the home. From First Coast News to Jacksonville.com, Adrienne helped to ensure that reporters had everything they needed to capture such a great story.
The house, built for the Prewitt-Brewer family, was completed with the help of more than 3,000 local volunteers. The teams worked around the clock for five days (and in the rain) to finish every last detail.
Want to see the final result? You’ll just have to tune in to watch the episode on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8 on ABC.
I guess that leaves us with just one more thing to say: Welcome home, Prewitt-Brewer family (and Adrienne)!
