A Review of my Swacket

What do you get when you combine swag and weather? SWACKET. Do I have Swacket? Why yes, it’s the only thing I use. In fact, in the mornings, I hop out of my bed and turn my Swacket on.

So what exactly is Swacket you ask? It’s an all encompassing weather app made for those who want to know detailed weather for the day and for those who are too lazy to pick out clothes. So…ME!

Features of Swacket:

Suggested clothing items

Are you lazy? Indecisive? Have no fear! Swacket gives you clothing suggestions based on the day’s forecast, for both men and women. It also gives you accessory suggestions like an umbrella or SPF.

Fun Facts

While scrolling through today’s clothing suggestions, you might come across a couple of fun facts along the way. Like, “dirty snow melts faster than clean snow.” Who knew!?

Pet Friendly!

Don’t think Swacket forgot about pets! This app gives you pet friendly weather suggestions, as well. Water bowls and pet sunglasses included.

Forecast

Just turn your phone on its side and bam! a whole new set of features including hour-by-hour forecast and 10-day forecast

Radar

This app includes four different animated maps: city, state, regional and national maps, so you can see where Hurricane Debby is coming from and when it will hit your area.

Watches and Warnings

Safety first, people! Swacket sends you push notifications whenever there is a watch or warning in your area.

FUN!

Swacket also has these things called Easter eggs. Every time you open the app there is a different Easter egg. Today was Garth Brookes. Some of my favorites are 30 Rock and Forest Gump. A nice surprise everyday!

In my opinion this app is way awesomer than the boring Weather Channel app. Have you tried it? What do you think? Download it in the app store here.

The Swacket changed my life entirely. Before the download, it was a stark pan of sepia tone and sadness; now, it’s clamoring with the jubilation of three hundred children with slices of cake and a thousand rainbow painted unicorns dancing through my field of vision. …but in all seriousness, I did download it and it IS pretty darn nifty. Thanks for the review! c:
