Lindsay Loves Spaghetti

Even in our very dog friendly workplace, graphic designer Lindsay Vetell stands out. Her featherweight Italian Greyhound, Pixel, and fluffy Italian Greyhound mix, Barkley, are often seen bouncing energetically around the office, sending work orders flying and dog-o-phobes (we made that word up) running to their offices.

But this week, she went and did something that will earn her a place in the On Ideas Dog Lovers Hall of Fame. She brought in a tiny, snuggly, ridiculously adorable mixed-breed puppy to keep her company in the design studio.

Lindsay named her little bundle of joy Spaghetti, and she’ll be fostering him for one month as part of the “Down 2 Zero” project, a joint effort of Jacksonville Animal Care & Protective Services and Friends of Jacksonville animals. If you’ve been to the Riverside Arts Market lately, you’ve probably seen them there with adoptable pets. (Check out their Facebook page for more info.)

Between Lindsay’s record as a doting dog mom and our office’s general obsession with puppies, we’re going to go ahead and predict that Spaghetti’s not going ANYWHERE at the end of his one-month foster period. Congratulations, Spaghetti! Whether it’s with Lindsay or another On Ideas staffer, your charm offensive is about to nab you a permanent home.
